Description
Shenmue 3 is the successor of the action adventure classic Shenmue 2, which was released on the Dreamcast in 2001. The game will be released after a successful campaign on Kickstarter in August 2019 for PS4 and PC. "Shenmue 3" looks like a 15-year-old game and seamlessly ties in with the second part in almost every respect - and connoisseurs of the cult series will love exactly this nostalgia factor and the line fidelity that goes along with it.
Already in 2018, the Shenmue 1&2 Collection was released, a polished version for the current console generation. The game will continue the story of Ryo Hazuki and, according to Director Yu Suzukui, will be twice as long as its two predecessors with about 60 hours playing time.

Suzuki also revealed that side quests are no longer disconnected from the story and the game can be continued after the story is finished. However, if you've recently enjoyed modern action adventures like Red Dead Redemption 2, Days Gone or Assassin's Creed - Odyssey, you might find Shenmue 3 slow, lengthy and technically outdated. Still, if you're looking for fun and storytelling at the end, we're happy to get involved in this unconventional Suzuki adventure again.
